It is not SO MUCH about what we do BUT about how we are SENSING-FEELING-BEING while doing it
Somatics is a vast field of movement and body based practices. Some with a clear therapeutic orientation and defined process, some with a more curious and expressive orientation. I am not a therapist and naturally bend more toward the second approach.
Soma is the body as perceived from within. In my view the body is the SPACE for our lived experience. It is in no way separate from our mind process, our emotions, nervous system responses, and our more etherial experience as what we could call the soul. Exploring and navigating our experience of being human is not an easy thing, but it can be made more gentle with an attitude of curiosity and compassion and an approach of deep play even when crossing the murky territories. This is often where the Expressive Arts will come as the perfect companion to Somatics in our explorations.

ONLINE Group sessions
I offer regular online group sessions on Zoom, live and recorded.
In RESTORE we restore ;) sensing & feeling, body-mind connection, movement awarness, cellular consciousness, mindful presence.
—> These sessions are slower practices really oriented toward rest and restoration and are therefor accessible to everyone.
In SHAKE THE DUST, we regulate and build capacity in the nervous system. It is a mix of HIIT, pilates, somatics, sometimes yoga, dance and free movement expression. All this along intentionaly curated playlists. It is music therapy, dance therapy, it gets you fit and emotionaly resilient. In my opinion and personal experience it is THE practice of our time.
—> These sessions are more active and are accessible with anyone in capacity to stand, walk, move, as the intensity is not a thing but limits are something we build agency toward.
General admission sliding scale 10-18€ per session.

ONLINE 1:1 SESSIONS
1:1 sessions allow us to dive into your experience with more attention and intention. The choice of practices and what we do will depend on where you are at and what is present in the moment or the challenge you are facing. I hold and create space for your unfolding. Mostly we will work with the body, sometimes it could be a very soft with very little movement, sometimes it can be more cathartic, and more often than not I may use or suggest some form of expression to bridge to day-to-day experience, such as journaling, poetry, drawing, etc. All these are details we will discuss together as I always like to talk my process and build a relation of trust which starts with transparency.
General rate is 65€ per session of 1h. Supported rate of 35€ is available on limited spaces. Please enquire by email by pressing the button below.

Sophie’s restorative yoga sessions are like a full-body exhale. Her gentle guidance invites deep rest while leaving space for personal exploration. I always leave feeling calm, grounded, and tingly — like I’ve just received a big, loving hug.

I had the joy of joining Shake the Dust sessions, which is exactly what it sounds like. I left feeling more alive in my body, lighter, clearer, like I’d shaken off more than just physical tension. It’s rare to find a practice that’s both grounding and energizing.

What really sets Sophie apart is her ability to hold space. She has that quiet, intuitive sense of knowing when to guide, when to step back, and how to meet people exactly where they are. Whether it’s a movement cue or a difficult emotion, she brings a kind of calm precision, like she’s reading the situation with both her mind and her whole body.

“In a way, my body is like the body of the Earth, which with its mountains, valleys, river beds and uneven topography tells the story of its history and creation as surely as my body expresses the trials and creative changes that I have experienced throughout my lifetime.” - Ken Dychtwald
